Anna G. (Meyer) Slawinski 88, of Toms River died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was born in Jersey City, and lived in Carteret before moving to Toms River. Anna known as "Tootsie" to family, was a stay at home mom for most of her life raising her children. Before that, she went to Barbizon Modeling School. Anna loved playing pinocle, baking and crocheting.

She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond and daughter, Barbara Addie. Anna is survived by her loving children, Karen Kelly, Art and Corrine Addie, William and Sunita Slawinski, Corey and Steven Viola, Lynn Slawinski, and Donna Fenton; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and her sister, Barbara Castrovinci, Ron and their children.

Funeral will be on Saturday, November 23, 2024 starting at 9:30 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home,56 Carteret Avenue in Carteret, followed by 10 AM Mass at St. Joseph Church in Carteret. Entombment will take place at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
