Audrey Joan Nagy, 91, of Brick Township, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born in Carteret, and lived there most of her life before moving to Brick Township in her later years. Audrey retired from Merck & Co. in Rahway as a lab services supervisor.

Audrey loved to travel and experience new places, and she enjoyed going to Broadway shows and music concerts with her daughter. Audrey cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Harold A. Ward; and her brother, William J. Ward.

Audrey is survived by her loving children, Ken Nagy and his wife, Dawn, Susan Bettica and her husband, Rich, and Dave Nagy; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Caitlin; great grandchild, Callie; two brothers, Harold (Lefty) and Donald Ward; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be on Thursday, March 6, 2025 starting at 9:30 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue in Carteret. Mass will be at 10 AM at Divine Mercy Parish-Holy Family Church in Carteret, followed by Entombment at St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum in Colonia. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
