Barbara Marie Mauro 57, formerly of Carteret, of Laurence Harbor, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Perth Amboy and lived in Carteret before moving to Laurence Harbor 18 years ago. Barbara worked as a Clerk for B & L Towing in Carteret for 25 years. She loved baking, especially cookies; playing Bingo and crabbing.

She is predeceased by her parents, Barbara and Salvatore Mauro. Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Crystal Angel Cordero; brother, William Mauro and his wife, Andrea; niece, Alexa and nephew, Matthew Mauro; Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue , Carteret, NJ. Private Cremation will be held.
