Barbara Pavone, 81, of Carteret, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at R.W.J.U. Hospital at Rahway. She was born in Newark, NJ, married the love of her life, Richard and moved to Carteret in 1976, where they created a wonderful life together.

Barbara had a passion for decorating. She enjoyed decorating for all the holidays, but particularly loved Christmas. Her grandchildren were the love of her life, she loved spending time with them, especially watching movies together.

She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Pavone; her sisters, Marie Olesky and Dolores Bucci; and her brother, William Ferrado. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Gina Mistretta and her husband, Mike, and Richard Pavone and his wife, Michelle; two adored grandchildren, Ryan and Carly; many nieces and nephews; close friends and her "furry" companion, Coco.
