Bernice C. Poulos resident of Carteret passed on June 23, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Rahway.  Born in Hackensack, raised in Jersey City, she moved to Carteret in 1971 making it her forever home.

Known as the "Hot Dog Lady" in her younger years she worked for the Sabrett company in Jersey City until moving to Carteret to start her own distributorship named B & T Poulos Foods Inc for 55 years until retiring in 2003.Her retired years were filled with parties, cruises, frequent trips to Atlantic City and shopping for shoes, clothes and pocketbooks.

She is predeceased by her sister Cheryl Dilullo, sister Stacy Skill, brother Leslie Skill, father Bernard Skill and mother Mary Skill. Bernice is survived by her husband Thomas Poulos, daughter Susan Poulos, grandsons Michael Chervenak and Philip Sbailo, son Larry McGuckin, brother Dennis Skill and sister Melanie Skill. Extended family stepson Raymond Poulos, granddaughter Raven Poulos and grandson Tom Poulos.

Private Services were held under the care of Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue, Carteret.
