Diane Sjoblom, 62, of East Brunswick, formerly of Carteret, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and grew up in Carteret before moving to East Brunswick 20 years ago. Diane loved photography and baking, especially cookies. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed.

She is predeceased by her father, John Chomicki; husband, Russell Sjoblom and brother, John Chomicki. Diane is survived by her loving mother, Patricia Chomicki, children, Alicia Sjoblom and Russell Sjoblom II and his wife, Virginia; grandchildren, Aralyn, Nicole, Sophia and Jacob; brother, Robert Chomicki and his wife, Donna; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue, Carteret. Private cremation will be held.
