Francis "Frank" Stephen Ciarkowski 65, formerly of Carteret, of Monroe Twp., passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was born in Jersey City, raised in Carteret and moved to Monroe Twp., where he lived for over 20 years. Frank retired 6 years ago from the Carteret Police Department as a Sergeant. He enjoyed working the NFL games at Met Life and loved golfing and fishing. Frank was a member of the Carteret BPO Elks 2235, Knights of Columbus Father Carey Council #1280 and was the former liaison to the HPBA Local # 47 for many years.

He is predeceased by his parents, Lottie and John Ciarkowski. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sue (Brown) Ciarkowski; his son, John Ciarkowski; his daughter, Nicole Ciarkowski; his two sisters, Lorraine Bernath and Carol Leone; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 10 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue, Carteret. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 2 PM to 6 PM.
