John T. Craig 72, went to his heavenly home in early August. He was born in Jersey City, grew up in Carteret and  married his beautiful wife, Karen.

John was a terrific Carteret High School athlete, who had a passion for sports, he especially loved the NY Mets. He was also a great cook.

He is predeceased by his parents, Kathleen and John H. Craig; and his brother, Larry Craig. John is survived by his loving wife, Karen; his sister, Peggy Buttner; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; his Aunt Janet Nerod ; Aunt Eileen Yanno; many other relatives, godchildren, cousins and friends.

Funeral will be on Friday, August 8, 2025 starting at 11:30 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue, Carteret, NJ with Prayer Service at 12 noon. Entombment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 4 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity in John's name would be appreciated.
