Laura Waurzynski, 70, of Carteret, NJ, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, surrounded by her loving family.
Originally born in Perth Amboy, Laura was raised in Carteret, where she resided throughout her entire life. She spent many years working at Herman's Sporting Goods in Carteret before beginning a dedicated career at The Law Offices of Paone Zaleski & Murphy on Green Street in Woodbridge, NJ.
Laura was an active parishioner of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Woodbridge, NJ, where she participated fully in parish life and community events.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Anthony and Irene Waurzynski. Laura is survived by her devoted companion, Robert (Bob) Mount; her sisters, Bernadette Wutkowski and her husband Joseph III of Carteret, NJ, Paula Dahl of Somers Point, NJ, and Justine Blankenbeckler of California; her cherished niece and goddaughter, Brittany Wutkowski; and her dear nephew, Joseph Wutkowski IV, and his wife Mary Kate. Laura also leaves behind many loved cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends who will all miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave, Carteret, NJ, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, Emerson Street, Carteret, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
