Margaret Mastorio, 86, of Port Reading, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ and was a life-long resident of Port Reading, NJ. Margaret was in the first graduating Class of Woodbridge High School in 1957. She was a devote catholic and a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Port Reading for most of her life. Margaret was an avid bowler and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Margaret is predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Mastorio and her brother, James Vernillo. She is survived by her loving children, Michael Mastorio and his wife, Celia and Angela Garcia and her husband, Omar; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicholas, and Vanessa; great grandchildren, Laila, Kevin Jr. and especially, Luca , who was born on April 13, 2025; her brother, Sammy Vernillo and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 9 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue in Carteret, followed by a 10 AM Blessing at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Port Reading. Private Service will follow. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 6 PM to 9 PM.
