Nicholas Prencipe 72, of Port Reading, died peacefully, on Sunday, April 13, 2025. He was born in Perth Amboy and was a life-long resident of Port Reading. He retired from the Woodbridge Township Division of Sanitation, as a Sanitation Driver after 29 years of service. Before that he was a longtime pizza maker at the family-owned Center Bar and Pizzeria in Port Reading.

He loved Cadillac cars, football, playing cards, billiards and especially spending time with his family and friends.

Nicholas is predeceased by his parents, Caroline and Joseph Prencipe; and his wife, Ann Marie Ottaviano Prencipe, who together they had a passion for rescuing cats. He is survived by his loving brother, Joseph Prencipe and his companion, Gina Sabatino; sister, Christine Galvach and her husband, Kenneth; nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Liza, Vanessa, Genaro and Andrew; and his great nieces and nephews, Kenny, Ava and Jocelyn; and many family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave., Carteret, from 5 PM to 7 PM.
