IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert F
Oster
March 23, 1951 – May 8, 2025
Robert Oster, 74, of Carteret, passed away on May 8, 2025. He was born in Newark
and lived most of his life in Carteret.
Robert, known as Bob, founded B&B Automotive over 40 years ago. The company was rebranded as B&B Performance Machine in the last 20 years to focus more on racing engines. Bob successfully managed the engine building business by his ability to effectively communicate with customers of all skill levels, including novice racers,
professional racers and CEO's of automotive companies.
Bob always took the time to thoroughly explain the work involved to his customers and to discuss anything related to racing, fostering long-lasting friendships. He was a big fan of all motor sports, including drag racing, F1, and Nascar.
He is predeceased by his parents, Molly and Tony Oster, his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Radomski, his brother Paul Oster and his nephew, Tommy Radomski.
He is survived by his sister Sue Holcombe and husband Jeff, his brother Brian Oster, his nephews David and Mike Radomski, his niece ToniMarie Radomski and his five great-nieces.
We will always carry Rob in our hearts.
Private Services were held under the care of Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave., Carteret.
