Theresa Dorothy Marciniak, 88, of Carteret entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Born in Carteret to Stanley and Alberta (Grygo) Marciniak, Theresa worked for many years for Bank of America, retiring as Assistant Bank Manager in Carteret. A parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish, Theresa served as President of the Holy Family Rosary Society and volunteered with the church.

Theresa was predeceased by her brothers Stanley, Jr. and Matthew. She is survived by her sister Barbara (Marciniak) Dias, brother Thomas Marciniak and his wife Linda, nephew Dennis Dias and his wife LuAnn, niece Diane Buffer and her husband Eric, nieces, Linda Marciniak and Terry Claar, nephews, Michael and Chad Marciniak and great niece and great nephew Sarah and Patrick Coveny, among other relatives and friends.

Theresa was a constant presence in the life of her family and friends. An avid crafter, she loved crocheting, needlepointing, and ceramic making. Her family will remember her for her kindness, love, and support always.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 28th from 8:30-9:30AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue, Carteret, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Divine Mercy Parish-Holy Family Church in Carteret.
